Teeth can be separated easily to compensate for the thickness of the matrix band. After wedge is removed, teeth return to their original position. A perfect contact point is restored. Technique Tip Presoaking Wedges in water or Hemodent just prior to use causes them to swell while in place, creating greater wedge efficiency.
